Integrity of Buildings

STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE BUILDINGS

Nothing shall be done in any Unit, or in, on, or to the Common Areas and Facilities which will impair the structural integrity of the buildings, nor shall anything be done in or on said areas which would structurally change the buildings, without prior written permission on each occasion by the Trustees.  (See Request for Approval of Addition/Alteration Form).

AMERICAN FLAGS: Residents may display the American flag no larger than 2’ x 3’ (2 feet by 3 feet). The American flag must be displayed consistent with the provisions of the American Flag Act, Federal Flag Code (Title 36, chapter 10), or any rule or custom pertaining to the proper display or use of the American Flag.

BTC Trust asks that you contact the main office if you wish to display a flag. BTC will send out a maintenance person to properly mount the American Flag to your door frame at no cost to the unit owner. We want to be sure that anything mounted to the door frame is done securely and does not in any way damage the siding of the building. Any damage done to the building by a unit owner will be the responsibility of the owner and remediation charged back to the specific unit.

PROPER MAINTENANCE OF UNITS:  Each Unit Owner shall keep his Unit in a good state of preservation and cleanliness and shall not sweep or throw or permit to be swept or thrown any dirt or other substance from the doors or windows thereof.  The toilets, sinks and other plumbing fixtures and apparatus shall not be used for any purpose other than for which they were constructed, and no sweepings, rubbish, rags, paper, ashes or other substances shall be thrown therein. Any damage to plumbing systems of the buildings resulting from such misuse shall be paid for by the Unit Owner who causes it.
